Harriet on the Road
When the first book, First Of The Few, was published in November 2019, the plan was to take it on the road in 2020 and show it at events and airshows across the country. However, this was derailed somewhat when 2020 'happened', and the world turned a little. If there's a silver lining, it's that Covid and the subsequently intensely busy years that followed gave me a nudge to promote the books online, and to my relief and eternal gratitude, they really took off (pun intended), both home and abroad.
In 2025 I finally managed to take Harrit Cornwall on the road!
Headcorn 2025
In 2025, with Project H25 moving forward with some success, 2020's plans finally came to fruition, and I attended the 2025 Battle of Britain airshow at Headcorn airfield in Kent. A show I'd visited in the past, and an airfield where I first flew a Harvard T6!
Over two days I got to talk with hundreds of people, and hear some very interesting stories, while having the opportunity to introduce Harriet Cornwall to the world a little more, and showing the clothing and equipment she would have worn and used.
